Ever new greenI took this one while backpacking in Yoho national park BC. It was damp and rainy and not a lot of light was getting through the trees. Still the new growth of the ever greens seemed light up in the dullness of the day.

This photo began at 2:00am in Calgary on a Saturday morning with a 138 km drive and a 6 km walk partially in the dark to arrive at the lake at dawn. It ended with a splendid breakfast and coffee at Coyotes in Banff.
