Ever new greenI took this one while backpacking in Yoho national park BC. It was damp and rainy and not a lot of light was getting through the trees. Still the new growth of the ever greens seemed light up in the dullness of the day.

Sometimes the best place is morning.Boom Lake, Alberta. Shot at sunrise with .9 and .6 Lee graduated ND resin filter. This photo began at 2:00am in Calgary on a Saturday morning with a 138 km drive and a 6 km walk partially in the dark to arrive at the lake at dawn. It ended with a splendid breakfast and coffee at Coyotes in Banff.
