it's hard to translate Chinese into English as it's common to use "idioms" (for example, the meaning of "don't put all your eggs in one basket" is lost if it's translated directly into another language)

as for "fuck to fry the cow river"... it's the very delicious "gan chao niu he", which translates literally to "dry fried beef noodles"... however, if you take the context out and translate the words one-by-one, yes, it could also translate to "fuck fry cow river"

Found this on digg... i think the one that says "Meal egg soup The brisket gets the river powder" refers to both the Chinese above and below it. "Meal egg soup" looks like a direct translation of the Chinese above it, and "The brisket gets the river powder" looks like a direct translation of the Chinese BELOW it. I actually know what that dish is, it's beef brisket with a certain type of noodle (wide flat rice noodle)... my Chinese is pretty rusty though, so I may be wrong.

Also, in China they use the ¥ symbol to denote the Chinese currency as well as Japanese Yen. It's like using the $ symbol, except for Chinese Yuan.
