Catchy Colors Image Cloud

A test of a little app I've been working on that takes images from Flickr and composes a photo montage (or image cloud).

This is an example from the test version I've been hacking at. It currently monitors Flickr RSS feeds for changes, but the next version will implement the Flickr API and will allow a collage to be created from photos with specific tags in addition to photos from individuals or groups (Oh, and it will play nicely with Creative Commons).

I estimate it takes around 60 photos (at 640x480) to create the coverage seen above and left longer you'd get a better effect with no white background bleeding through. I'm impatient though.

Written in Perl, no plans to release this version. Next version maybe, after it plays nicely.
