the fun thing about working in a 24 hour facility is that someone is always awake when you should be sleeping or celebrating something at 8am, which was the exact time i was starving and wishing i had brought some yogurt or a banana to work to munch on. instead, i had a cupcake. and it was delicious!

up in the dark.
home in the dark.
working in between.
now it's time for sleep.

i don't mind, really. i enjoy being at work while the rest of the world is playing.

i can look forward to mondays instead of dreading them and take in a movie on a wednesday afternoon and be the only one in the theater. (LOVE that!)

it's only taken 8 years, but i think i'm finally learning to appreciate the flexibility my work offers me... :)

today was a day to celebrate!

back in october i did something as siimple as take a shower and felt my whole world start spinning around me... since then i have had daily dealings with vertigo... as the frustration of it wore off and the reality of it not being a short term problem sank in, it slowly became a part of my daily life.

so, to wake up today and be all of a sudden symptom free and have it last all day... well, i am psyched about that!

16 weeks and 1 day with vertigo, done!

oh... and i really liked this label :).

after a few days at work i was ready for some simplicity.
reading the news over oatmeal and tea.
a massage.
went to a movie.
& our favorite little mexican place :).
