today was full of things to do... errands, cleaning, exercise, taxes.
not all of it was *fun*, but after it all i feel terribly accomplished, which is always a good feeling.
i managed to stop for 15 minutes this afternoon to enjoy an orange, some white tea, and the breeze from the 65 degree day outside coming through my sliding door. it's little moments like that that really keep me going.

simple things, yet they are so energizing. :)

appointments, errands... got some great news today in the midst of it all.
afterwards i took a few minutes to just enjoy the bright blue skies and the rays of sunshine.
and the birds....
movie and dinner with a friend rounded it all out.
it was a good day.

the fun thing about working in a 24 hour facility is that someone is always awake when you should be sleeping or celebrating something at 8am, which was the exact time i was starving and wishing i had brought some yogurt or a banana to work to munch on. instead, i had a cupcake. and it was delicious!

up in the dark.
home in the dark.
working in between.
now it's time for sleep.
