Would it been better b&w?

I like it but I doubt it's folio material,

Really dismal framing, and there's not enough to actually go on in the image, it feels somehow flat. More contrast might help it, or as thunderchild says, b&w. There are already a couple of very excellent examples of this in the FOLIO, I suggest you might want to have a look at them.

The selective desaturation works against the image in this case and I think the centered composition doesn't help. I think this shot had a lot of potential... the textures of the rust and some different angles would have been, perhaps, more interesting.

Since people are complaining that crap photos get good remarks. I'll vote save2. Great work!

Nice pump (with potential for a good pic I think), but I'm not enthralled by the image here: lack composition and exposure

Hello there - I'm an admin for a group called More Than Living. We've used your picture to illustrate a story on our site: More Than Living - Just fuming. We're really grateful you published your brilliant pic under a CC license. Hope you enjoy the story.

We'd love to have your photo added to our group. And even happier if you felt like you wanted to join our little gang? We're quite a small group at the moment - just 10 of us so far! We're trying to create a group of photographs, and, ideally photographers, that illustrate the different aspects of greener living and the issues that are facing us all. If you were up for adding your picture to the group, or even for joining the group itself, we'd be really pleased.

Thanks,

Tamsin @ More Than Living
