Have been down and out for some time, almost a week :-( and I know that I've missed so many great shots from my friends :-) As a come back I decided to play around with today's challenge.

Taken on my trip to playa d'aro Spain. Had just got my D40 and was out taking shots of everything in sight :D including sadly this dead pigeon :-( Intrestingly enough I used the standard 18-55mm lens (Never knew then that this kind of shots are know as macros :-) and that there are lenses for them) Never the less I liked how it turned out.

Ok! Gerberas have become my favourite flowers to photograph. Unfortunately I only have the orange one (soon to change) but that will do for now. Here on black with some drops.
