IBM Young Explorers Sharpen Students' Math,Science & Language Skills
At Newark's, NewJersey's Clinton Avenue Early Childhood School on February 8, 2012, (from right) Newark Mayor Cory A. Hudson Keith Green look on as kids use one of 75 Young Explorer™ computers, that IBM is donating to area schools to help teach young children concepts in math, science, and language. Since the inception of the KidSmart Early Learning Program in 1998, IBM has invested more than $133 million, donating more than 60,000 Young Explorers to schools and nonprofit organizations in 60 countries, reaching more than 105,000 teachers and serving more than 10 million students.
