My home brew beer

My home brew beer by Ian Tindale.
Some of the nicest home brew beer I've brewed at home. Just in case the last shot was not going to tell the story adequately, I thought it might be best if I started again.

That's it, I have to either move to your area or you can start selling six packs of your brew. This looks tasty!

What kind is it? My favorite batch I've made is a Hefewiezen using a German wheat yeast.

This one? I sort of cheated a bit, in that I didn't do an all-grain mash (haven't done one at all during 2005, and this was the only brew I managed). To get back into the swing of brewing, I used a kit. This is a "Woodforde's Wherry" kit, which is one of the more highly respected kits (two tins of malt extract, not an 'add sugar' one), and it surprisingly turned out as excellent as any of my all-grain (and better than the last two of them). Plus, it was vastly easier. I'd definitely use this kit again if mashing wasn't able to fit into the time available.

I've always been happy with my extract brewing. It's easy, and makes good beer. I haven't tried a kit before, but I might have to with a review like that.
