Balvaird Castle in Perth and Kinross. Started around 1500 for Sir Andrew Murray, a younger son of the Murrays of Tullibardine. He aquired the lands of Balvaird through marrage to the heiress Margaret Barclay. They prospered and through time their sucessors became Earls of Mansfield and the main branch became Dukes of Atholl.
