Padstow (Lannwedhenek) is a town and fishing port on the North Coast of Cornwall. It is a Beautiful area of Cornwall indeed.

The town is situated on the west bank of the River Camel Estuary.

The famous Chef Rick Stein owns four restaurants in Padstow. We, unfortunately, only had the time and budget for just the one. This was at his Sea Food Restaurant which had the best fish I have ever tasted.

Rick Steins impact on the local economy of Padstow has created the nickname for the town of "Padstein"

Wadi Rum is a beautiful stretch of Sand and Rock Desert.

Known as Valley of the Moon, Wadi Rum is located in South Jordan and is the country's largest Wadi (Desert). The area is most famous for it's connection with British Officer T.E. Lawrence.

After our 4WD Experience I left our camp area (a sleeping bag) and walked, a mile or so, with another group member and watched the sun start to set over Wadi. It was such a wonderful sunset which I shall always remember.
