      urg how do you get the "rainbow effect" i've been using different settings and using my polarizer and it's just not coming out :(

      You need several things. It has nothing to do with your camera, solely your polarizer, natural light and for the car to have some sort of coating. First off, you usually need a good quality filter. It also involves a bit of luck because not all cars have the coating that produces that effect.
