baffling "preferences" options

This is the entire preferences panel for some of the worst OCR software I have ever tried to use: DigitEyeOCR [yes, that's "finger in your eye ocr", exactly]. There is no help file and no manual online that I could find with 5-10 minutes of poking.

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.
