They're made by a company called Samadhi Cushions, whose products are nearly universally used by meditators in the Shambhala community, founded by Tibetan teacher Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche in the 1970s. Very high quality and comfortable...I've used my zabuton (the big square one) in the very same manner as yr photo more than once.
