Money needs to be removed from American politics.

Long Story

Imagine what the founding fathers of the U.S. would think if they saw America now.. how far back did the land of the free turn into the land of the oppressed? The middle class pays the majority of taxes and the lower class is simply out of luck. As long as money continues to be the dominating force of politics, the interests of industry and profit margins will always come before the interests of the people.

The financial sector continues to perpetuate it's greed and siphon wealth from citizens. Since 2007, wall street profits have increased by over 700% while the unemployment rate has risen over 100% (hard to believe but sourced from the us bureau of labor statistics). Wall Street continues to hide behind "the declining economy" for their actions (housing bubble anyone?) that directly caused the economy to fall into recession in the first place... and yet after all this they continually receive heavy legislative and financial backing from the government and the fed.

I wonder how long this cycle can continue before it reaches a breaking point as the citizens of America are finally waking up to the many injustices done to them. The least Obama could do at this point is to pursue changing the name of the nation to The United States of America inc, which I believe perfectly describes the country.

It's awesome going through old shots and seeing how your style/interests and fascinations have changed (or not) over the years.
