There was this huge blue calm
before the storm.
And they decided
what a fun day it was!
And so they rode
and rode
and rode...
before Gustav hit land...
(Behind-the-scene: Santa Monica Pier. Perfect sunny afternoon. Perfect blue skies. In a nutshell, I was aiming to shoot the Ferris Wheel when the rollercoaster went zipping on by. Lucky me! *Snap!* And voila!)

It is a nice double with the roller coaster and the ferris wheel. The rails take the eye on a ride in the same way it takes the passengers, hurtling into space and out into the blue yonder, where it meets the ferris wheel. Catchy colours in this and I like the curl to almost stretch corner to corner.
