San Bernardino Pass. Lago d'Isola, fog and reflections.
After some hours in a car everybody needed to take some minutes off. We decided to hold on until the San Bernardino pass, we had memory of a small parking area with some toilettes, some meters below the road level (Piano San Giacomo, if you are interested). Sadly the toilettes were closed, but some more meters below there was this nice lake (lago d'Isola). From the road it looked like the fog was hovering just over the water, but it was just a reflection. It was really peaceful and completely silent, with no sign of footprints on the snow or the slightest movement on the water.
Grey Day, by the Madness (from the album 7, 1981, Stiff Records)
In the morning I awake
My arms my legs my body aches
The sky outside is wet and grey
So begins another weary day
