Invisible city

Invisible city

Egg shape meets round brick pipe here in this historic underground junction. Round pipes are said to be strongest while the egg excels at maintaing flow during low levels. We arranged all the lighting and were set to shoot when I realized I had left the camera in the car, ha. I bolted out and grabbed the gear while the others were shooting and then made the trip back.

Spent most of the day off shooting underground as I've been trying to get to know the new wireless remote. Despite the great reviews this thing seems to missfire underground like none other. Still got a few choice flick's but missed far too many. This place is pretty unique for the area its in. Negotiating the slippery incline in the dark is the main challenge for the shots. About halfway through shooting the levels began to rise, surely a few snowflakes were falling on the warm pavement outside. This resulted in the flow changing from a normal clear to the murkiness you see here. After waiting it out on high ground for a bit things calmed down and shooting resumed... :)
