Lightsaber Battle 2007

Photos from the taphead of pure insanity that was November 16th's Newmindspace Lightsaber Battle outside of the ROM.

I'll be honest. I didn't take too many pictures at this event as I was busy battling. (I think that only two other serious photographers in Toronto can say this.) There are very few things in life I enjoy as much as being allowed to beat on random strangers. Photography is up there, but when it's dark and crowded, you might as well just grab a tube and start whacking.

...Except the tubes were all given out by the time we got through the mad crowd crush, so we had to make do with bits found on the ground or surrendered by other fighters. We still had fun though.
