Seriy kotik - The poster you're thinking of is actually an American World War II propaganda poster (as seen here). She's commonly referred to as Rosie the Riveter, and yes, the figure in the photo is supposed to be her. The handbag is actually her lunch-box, and I agree that Freud should really step back!
