I love ...
I hate !
March 28, 2006 - 17:19 by Hughes Léglise-Bataille.
The anti-CPE demonstration of the 28th was the largest to date, with close to 3 million people in France according to the organizers (1 according to the police). At the end of the demonstration, riots erupted on the Place de la République.

Here, a policeman is picking up the "matraque" dropped by a colleague while dragging an arrested protester. You don't want these to fall into the wrong hands ;-)

Great capture of a vivid moment. I can only imagine what went through his head when he dropped that. "Uh oh." "*@#!" This whole set is spectacular.

having seen them hitting and gasing journalists, i would say the matraque is in the wrong hands anyway, but that's my opinion.
brilliant pic, as usual...

You have to have an eye to capture a moment like this. Well done!
And you are right: you don't want the "matraque" to fall in the wrong hands! :-)

Aweesomee shot. It's creepy, semi-morbid, paternalistic, but it is great! Bien fait!

Bravo, un instant qui dit beaucoup de choses.
Jusqu'au déséquilibre de ce policier qui semble indiquer que quelque chose vacille.
