Catedral de Pedra
Canela, RS - Brasil


A Catedral Nossa Senhora de Lourdes, mais conhecida como Catedral de
Pedra, é um templo católico localizado no município brasileiro de Canela,
no Rio Grande do Sul. É uma grande atração turística da Serra Gaúcha.

Seu estilo característico é o gótico inglês. A igreja possui uma torre com
65 metros de altura, e um carrilhão de 12 sinos de bronze, fabricados pela
fundição Giácomo Crespi, na Itália.

Foi eleita uma das Sete Maravilhas do Brasil em 2010.

This is a shot of the "Super Full Moon".
I've also uploaded an old shot taken in 2009 with exactly the same focal
length (250mm) and camera settings and in very similar conditions
(in both shots the moon was near the zenith and the sky was clear).
Both images were 100% cropped using a frame of 420x420 pixels, so if you
click on the image below you can see the difference between the size of
this "Super" Moon and a "Regular" Moon.
