There has been extensive demolition behind this wall to make way for a shopping development. I think the wall here is being stabilized and will be incorporated into the shopping centre. Here is a picture of a model of the development and this wall is shown painted white to the far right.

Been done. Must say that the council did very well in preserving what was 'The Ship Hotel'.

This front is now incorporated into the new Grand Arcade.

Always nice to keep some history.
