The eagle on top , one of the two main crests or figures of the Haida & Tlingit Indians. The other is the Raven which is said to have supernatural powers and to be the creator of the world. Both Haida and the Tlingit had two clans. The Eagle and the Raven. So when I said earlier that the Tlingit were bear, I may have been wrong. This is very confusing to me. I have been sitting here all night trying to get information on this from the internet and this is what I have learned. (eagle and raven are in both tribes.) It is hard to know what is what when you are told one thing and read another.

Im not sure why but I do declare, I think I see Abe Lincoln!
The wooden building in the back ground is where they work and carve these totems. A close up of the frogs, at the bottom, will be posted later.
