The Night, or Let It Roll festival, whaterever you like. It's the only night every year when I go with my friends out and we have a great d'n'b time. It's a great festival with many famous DJs from around the world, that happens in Prague every year. We were for the fourth time this year and as usually, it was amazing!

I was taking some pics with my point'n'shot Nikon Coolpix somenuberidontremember, and results vary. Some of them are pretty and colorful, some of them are just messy, but it all makes nice combination of believable, natural, photos.

I've been trying recently to capture photos "just how everybody sees it", hope I'll have some time for processing them and posting. Whatever, this diptych could be one of them: It's about reality and not about esthetics :-)

This morning was quite unusual, compared to the last days: I had to get up for school. Early. Damn!

Don't know why, but somehow I did like it! Started with some MTV classic hits and a cup of coffee, acompanied by Radio 1 and later Shy FX (for Radio 1 played some stupid tracks), I went to school for my first maths lecture of the new semester. I was late, of course, but who cares. Tommorow it's going to be just one of these mornings :-)

The first things that impressed me, when I looked at this diptych were "Consumption" or "Transience", but none of them is a pleasant thing; and I if you look at the nice cup of a good coffe, you somehow expect a pleasant meaning. I was thinking for a while and then I got it: It's the spirit of joy!

It's like a puzzle, everything comming together and making a nice composition. We enjoy our coffee and the coffee enjoys to be drank (it's the coffee's puropse). And during this drinking process, the spirit of joy is entering our minds as we sip this great beverage... Without us drinking, there would be no spirit, just as if there was no coffee. It is one particular moment in time, when everything fits, we drink the coffee and that's where the spirit of joy lives.

Sleepless night, intensive feelings of good and evil, morning chill and seeing sunrise again, leaving my beloved for two weeks and having empty, but still full head of everything... Thinking of things that make me thinking...

Back with a diptych: this time I remember, how my window view looked until some stupid dumbass came and decided to build here a full bunch of houses. Since the last summer I really know how it is to live on a construction site, really nothing pleasant.

I keep taking photos of the whole "hell" going on and I plan to make a step-by-step collection when it all ends...

There is one worst thing: When they are done with these houses, they are going to build more just next... It's terrible, a nightmare, ruining someone's living.
