A nice result. Exposure is spot on, lucky
that central patch of sky didn't burn out.
The title is good as it reminds the viewer to
focus on the wave and it removes the need for
a horizon line.

Thanks a lot mates and all for your comments
and faves.
- Mike, yes wave makes the horizon, it's
one of the things I like here, camera was
about 40/50cm above the beach and waves had
between 1,5m and 2 m high. But I think I'll
post another one with a skyline.

I love this effect! So used to seeing these
type of long exposures used on rivers and
lakes, but to see the sea like this is still
quite novel and beautiful - for me at least.
Thanks for the excellent image, and your
effort to capture it for us ;)

This photo was selected by the Curators of
the Art of Landscape. Please send it to the Art of Landscape - Selected Works group. It will take part in our next Photos
of the Month contest.
I have somehow not been seeing your photos
correctly in my contacts and have missed this
until now.
This is stunning on so many levels, color,
composition, exposure and detail just to name
a few. The sharp sandgrains overlaid by the
wispy long exposure waves is unbelievable
beautiful.
