      I took roller skating lessons at the Imperial Roller Rink with my brothers. My first skates were bought there. Chicago Skates ! My father was an excellent skater and we would dance once I learned how. Never did master the "quick turn". I loved the mirrored ball hanging from the ceiling and the music ! It's so sad to see that it's gone now that I've returned to Portland after all these years.
