Japan by bike (May 2009)

I had some time off in May so I decided to ride my bike more than 500 kilometres across rural Shikoku and up through southwestern Honshu.

Up and down mountains twice as high as the ones in Vancouver. On roads that resembled coiled intestines. For six days straight. Solo. On a bike I hadn't ridden in almost two years.
