[113/365] Golden Paths into the Unknown.
Editing in RAW is the BEST! :)
I have a story to tell, and PLEASE at least BREEZE over this. It's important. Some chill stuff about my past day, but there's some more serious news.
Let's start with the bad/serious news.
So yesterday night, around dinner time, we were setting up our yard sale. We had a few neighbors that we had never met come up and talk to us just to get to know each other. The first, were our neighbors across the street from us. They were on their golf cart (we have a golf cart CITY, not community, CITY) headed to dinner but decided to stop by and talk to us. So after talking and getting to know them, (great people by the way), they headed over the old wooden bridge next to my house, (it's in a few of my pictures) to eat in the downtown area of our city. I headed back inside to grab some more things to bring out when all of a sudden I hear my mom SCREAMING, "HURRY HURRY HURRY!" very frantically. My dad runs in the house, and I ask what happened. My FIRST thought, in a panicked state, was that someone fell of the wooden bridge, which if they did, the chances of surviving are VERY slim. My dad said, "I'm not sure, go find out what happened and go get help NOW." Ends up, our neighbor, Mrs. Jo, that we had just met, only SECONDS later after talking to us, had fallen off her golfcart and hit her head HARD. There was blood all over, her things were everywhere, etc. My sister, (works in a hospital in registration, but knows how to handle a traumatic situation) RAN over there, and was helping her not pass out by telling her to breathe, etc. Her husband was FREAKING out. So, I RAN, as fast as I could into the city, barefoot, and the first people I saw I told them to immediately call the cops because someone was seriously hurt. I then, run a little further into the city to see if I saw any cops on duty that could get over there ASAP. Unfortunately there wasn't, but luckily I heard sirens a couple of minutes after. Ends up that she is in the hospital now with a brain hemorrhage. If you don't know what that is, basically her skull cracked, and now there is blood seeping into her brain. Basically a sore on her brain, which is very dangerous. So, PLEASE, keep her AND her family in your prayers. She was such a sweet woman, with such a sweet husband, so it's hard to see two people go through that when just going out to eat dinner. She's responsive, and talking, but STILL, a brain hemorrhage is a SERIOUS injury. So PLEASE, take the time to sincerely pray for her and her family. <3
Other than that, the yard sale went okay, the rest of the items were sent to the Goodwill. The car show was awesome, but unfortunately I didn't get any pictures. I walked up there, got boiled peanuts, looked at a few cars, then decided it was WAY too hot.
I have tonight, tomorrow, and a SMALL portion of Monday and Tuesday to finish my assignments. UGH!
I hope everyone is doing AMAZING.
No questions today, all I ask is you pray for Mrs. Jo and her family. <3
