Short Sleeve Pendleton two ways

Short Sleeve Pendleton two ways by hen power.
ok, I'm succumbing to this clone thing. I have to say it feels a little creepy, but it's fun. Also a great way to show this combo. A less silly image resides here. Or maybe it's more silly.

I was wearing the sweater and the trousers and the blue longsleeve shirt, and it looked very nice. Then I changed into a short-sleeve Pendleton to go out into the world, and I don't think it goes very well with the sweater, but it looks good without it. I like the short-sleeve wool shirt over the long sleeve baselayer. Didn't even know Pendleton made short sleeve shirts until a year ago. Now we've got a couple of them around.

Sweater: vintage, old favorite, don't know mfr. Metal buttons.
Shirt: Pendleton wool short sleeve, long-tail.
Shirt: Blue Smartwool long-sleeve.
Suspenders: Army surplus shop, but probably not actually army surplus.
Trousers: Army surplus.
Cap: Deller Designs
Mandarin orange: California

Photos very patiently and kindly taken by Holly.

Bwahahaha! Clones are such fun though ;) I actually like the yellow with plaid. It makes the plaid look a little goldish. & of course, suspenders rule!

Wardrobe remix has turned into an art form. The "setting" is very becoming with the ensemble.

Hah! I love it. The juxtaposition of the orange in hand on the left and the big red exercise ball on the right makes this transcendent art. :-)

quick tutorial:
1. take two photos, both with same lighting, exposure, and camera position.
2. in photoshop, copy one photo on top of the other (add it as a new layer)
3. using the eraser, erase the part of the top photo that covers the part of the bottom photo you want to show.

for example ,let's say the "sweater" photo was on the top. I would then erase the right hand side of the photo and the "no sweater" version of me would show through. There's no seams since the backgrounds of the photos are the same.

of course this was done with a digital camera with no exposure control, so there were some little things to sort out. But you get the idea. Very simple.

oh man that is a great way to do it! I need to try. Digital cameras werent popular yet when I was in school and I have been out for years and I am now in grad school relearning how to do this all again! The software has changed so much. Much easier now I think . I cant wait to try this! Ill let you know! thank you so much!
