Taken on a frigid (5 degrees F) morning in Lake Church, Wisconsin. There were phenomenal cloud patterns that had caught my eye. I tried to get to the lake as quickly as I could so I could have an open sky to photograph them. Just as I reached the lake the sun moved above the clouds and made it impossible to shoot their sweeping expanse. Had to settle for the lower part of them and the few wisps of mist skating on the surface of the water!

I can barely tell where the water stops and the sky starts - I love it! The band of orangeish pink really makes it.
