it was something to observe

i was blown away by the fingerwork of the 60-something guitarist playing at the Saxby's Coffee in Doylestown, PA, on Sunday night. he was providing the modest crowd with excellent instrumental renditions of some fairly recognizable tunes, and he wasn't just strumming along -- he was picking away with an alacrity that might put two guitarists to shame.

it really hit me when he burst into a version of Peter Gabriel's "Solsbury Hill" that had the place jumping.
