I didn't think I would have to 'borrow' from another day this early in the project; however, I can't seem to find evidence that I picked up the camera last Wednesday. I would swear I did, but I can't find the picture I thought I took. Things have been a blur, so who knows where it got off to....

I'll be in Toledo next week...any ideas on shooting locations....? Otherwise, I'm thinking the hotel room will be looking pretty good.... Of course, there's a river and great lake around there, so, maybe...

(notice I made it through all of January and most of February without travel, let's hope the trend continues...)

I suppose it's a bit late to wish y'all Happy V-Day; but I have to say, this view was the best present I could have received for that day.

Made all the more special since the snow and ice were gone with the afternoon sunshine.

The first real snow I've seen around town this year. All one inch of it. :-) This is a downtown courtyard, which while quiet in winter, rings with music and crowds throughout the summer.

I've passed this field and this one little tree a few times, and never saw the right backdrop to do it justice. But as the clouds rolled in from the west, obscuring the sunset, it seemed the perfect time to pull over and share a visit with the lonely tree.

Making use of an old soap dish, a few white cards, a brilliant sunny morning and a bit of overexposure to give a glow to the weekend.
