    I remember thinking "Wow, gold, mine!" when I first flipped through this little notebook filled with vintage Dutch sugar packets. Ephemera Book Scan 002.

      the best way i describe my feelings when i find something like this is, i am taken aback.... or it took my breath away. finds like this is what makes me crave ephemera.

      It's funny how I've started to do something similar for myself, taking old labels, tickets and sugar packets and sticking them in a book. What's I find odd is that it's just not the same as finding someone else's book of Ephemera though. Perhaps a find for someone else in the future I hope.

      Some of these places are still there,others renamed.The"De Pool"burned down in the early 1970's and was one, if not the worst hotel fire in Amsterdam's history.I also had a wedding-dinner there in the early '60's.Fun page and great graphics.
