mirtetoexploration
More slides from the so-called "Mirteto"
The ruins on the left (and on the other photos) belong to the church devoted to Santa Maria di Mirteto.
Scanning and processing these slides was a PITA and the colours are awful (except the wondeful blue sky).

The Valley of Late-Springs
June is not the best time to visit this place :D
It's the so-called "Valle delle Fonti" (litterally valley of springs). A torrent called Zambra crosses the whole valley. As you can see, there's not much water left in summer :)

From the Sky Above I Hide
My shadow lays with me
underneath the Big Wide Sun
My shadow stays with me
as we leave it all
we leave it all Far Behind
Subtle voices in the wind,
Hear the truth they're telling
A world begins where the road ends
Watch me leave it all behind (*)
Playing hide and seek with the sun.
No, this is not an accidental shot. It's an awful voluntary one.
I could not manage take the photo I was looking for but I took one, so here it is :D
PS: yes I do love that movie, and yes I do love its soundtrack. I freakin' love it :D

L'Ermo Colle del Signor Bosniasky / The Solitary Hill of Mister Bosniasky
I don't really know if this hill is that solitary,
or if Mister Bosniasky would have wanted me to take photos of his hill,
but there's one thing I know.
There is not a single killer squirrel on that hill.
And I was looking for a killer squirrel.
I'd love to have a pet killer squirrel.
But,
there are no killer squirrels no that hill.

Being a Poppy's Neighbor
If your neighbor is a poppy
you hardly want to hear about poetry.
And you wish you could squash him with a manual typewriter
and then steal
his artificial lamp.
