Despite the fact that it is really late, I got into the mood to fight another round with my ever so tangly hair. I took a strand of brown wool and used it as a "poof" "pouf" to ad volume, played around with a bun and a knoted strand - and voilá. It wouldn't survive a headbanging-test (a durability test a friend invented on her wedding)... but I don't do that anyway.

This is not a polished do, rather a kind of prototype. I will definitely play around with the "poof" more often.
