The posh pairs
Taken for the weekend challenge thread "In pairs" of the Sri Lanka Photographers group.
Experimenting around with light and stuff around the house...got to say I had heaps of fun!!! :-) Thought I'd share what the set up was like.
For this shot and others to come I was trying to get the "studio like" lighting as I don't have a studio nor a lightbox. What I did was I used a glass stand put a piece of soft white tissue paper over it and arranged the forks. I did have a white board on two sides as the third side was a white wall. Placing the camera on remote shutter release over the subject I set the aperture around f/16 to get a good dof and to expose the subject at f/16 I set the shutter speed to around 10 sec and manually triggered the flash multiple times in different directions to simulate the "studio like effect" of multiple light sources. This is why you need a glass stand to direct the flash from underneath as well. I took several shots will post them as I process.
