@jan - yeah, so the fetus is "fully cooked" at 37 weeks. which basically means that while the average is 40 weeks, you could have the baby any time, and it's safe to do so cuz all systems are go.

and you're actually pregnant for more than nine months... if you think a month is ~4 weeks. it's all very confusing. :)
