I choux choux you

    Tonari no dessert-o.
(Custard cream on the left and peach on the right, indicated by their different headgear!)

Blimey, you lot seem to really love these! Will this pic take over my other popular Totoro-related shot?

They're such a good idea aren't they? Simple but really well done. They had chocolate flavour as well, and from October they'll be doing a marron creme flavour - tempted to go back and try those two!

Thanks for the invite! I was a bit bemused at first until I read the group description ;) Maybe next time I should take them into the woods for a photo shoot... if they last that long!

Yummy too! We live in Mitaka-shi now, near the Ghibli museum. The place that makes these is not too far away in Suginami-ku, so we went for a walk to buy some during the nice weather at the weekend :)

Too cute to eat! I don't want them to disappear.

    18. highglosshighs (32 months ago | reply)

I love Totoro !have seen it many times =)
i love everything that comes from studio ghibli ...there is a museum in Japan just about studio ghibli stuff...I would love to go there one day ...

    21. highglosshighs (32 months ago | reply)

acornbud - if you didn't eat them then you could look at them for a couple of days but then they would start to go mouldy...so what is worse, yummy fresh totoro cream puffs in your tummy and a photo for the memory or sad mouldy cream puffs and no memory of the taste? ;)

Kuwait Zaizafoon - the museum is about 5 minutes from my house! I haven't been yet but want to visit soon. I hope that you can make it some day too :)

I'm sold! If I see one of these I will pop it into my mouth right away:)

    23. highglosshighs (32 months ago | reply)

Keep your eyes peeled! You never know where they might pop up! Be especially vigilant in woods and forests. And around bus stops.
