Microformats Plugin for Safari in the works…

Newer Older

Kasper Nauwelaerts, developer of the Safari Tidy plugin, has been developing a Microformats plugin for Safari. I emailed him last year on the off chance that he might fancy having a go! Cheeky, but it worked!

This is currently alpha, but works really well, and vcards and events were added really easily. Hopefully a beta will be out soon!

Fantastic, between this and the new web developer tool in Safari 3 I'm getting close to to being able to drop the memory hog that is firefox.

Jon, are you still using Safari 3 pretty heavily, or have you gone back to Camino?

I'm using Safari 3 pretty much full time now. The memory leaks and general slowness seem to be cured, and it's a joy to use. I also restrict my plugins to just SafariStand and Inquisitor (and this!)

Win! This might finally tempt me full-time away from Camino.

    Very nice!

By the way I just switched back to trying Google Reader & applied your OS X theme.

I was pleased to see how Google Reader (mobile version) works on the iPhone & how you can switch between the 2 (Mac & phone versions).

Any chance of a version for the iPhone in the future? :)
(Is that even possible to do?)

I'm not sure if it is possible - but if I find a way, I'll do it!
