Vector Magic

Vector Magic by Jon Hicks.
When a free online tool does a better job of vectorising bitmaps than Adobe Illustrator, you've got to hope Adobe are getting ready to open their wallets

Yea, a friend of mine pointed me to Vector Magic last week.
I've been impressed with it.

Agreed. Utterly brilliant. I'm going to vectorise about a thousand crappy logos and stuff when I get the time.

Bloody brilliant!

I saw this about a week ago, but didn't managed to upload and trace anything.

Yesterday, I used it to convert an old bitmap of a Calvin and Hobbes comic. Once I had the EPS, I blew it up, printed it out, and framed it above my desk. "Today I go for the gusto!"

Fantastic tool!

Looks like a great tool. Though I believe the Stanford promotions don't give Live Trace enough credit. It's obvious they were sloppy with the settings in Illustrator, which discredits the comparison.
