best. camera. ever.

double purpose string--if it's knotted I know there's paper inside and it can be used to tie the box to trees, chairs, or bits of fence as needed.
high tech shutter = flap of plastic bag
sticky tape for holding shutter open or closed. Now with added cat fluff. Bonus!
such a tasteful seasonal design that I always meant to paint over.
crap wheezy scanner than doesn't do negatives. But does do flowers. So, these things work out.
remarkably orange table. I blame the flash.

Current pinhole camera of choice. In a former life, it held christmas cards. Yes, it's held together with gaffer tape and string. The pinhole is poked into a piece of card rather than metal. Somehow it all works.

Almost all the recent pinhole series have been taken with this over the past couple of weeks, using 5x7 inch paper negatives blue-tacked into the back.

(I've got a brand new not yet used pin holga for my birthday though. Whee!)

Fantastic!
Hoping that you leave the Xmas decor on, as is.
It gives it even more character.

thanks all!

(it's a little less fantastic but very amusing when using it in public, as I found out yesterday...I got the most varied collection of funny looks in ages Even more than using a regular toy camera. There's just something about a cardboard box perched on top of a solid tripod...)

themissiah: suggestions? Yes! Get your hands on a suitable box and get cracking. Just set aside lots of time to play, and avoid really bright contrasty sun to start with...
