IsanaShe's developed a terror of the camera so I don't take it with me on our walks anymore. She hadn't seen it in a while so I was able to get this one shot on the rare occasion I decided to take it. Immediately after the shutter clicked she took off at a dead run and dragged me all the way home. LOL She's awful cute. I'll try to fill this in with a real update later since she's come so very far in the time we've had her with us. I just had to share the pic right quick.

Just me. 12-3-2009Hello. Had a little bit of time to play today. This is me wearing my lovely red coat. The backdrop is a set of bead curtains I picked up at Goodwill on top of my black muslin. The beads are not the best color choice for modeling a red coat, but I forgot to remove them before I decided to show off the coat. Oh well. They still make a neat backdrop.

late November moonThere was a rainbow ring around the moon the other night. I was trying to capture that and failed utterly. But I got a pretty good moon shot in the bargain, I think. Not a bad consolation prize. I love it when the craters are emphasized by shadows as the moon approaches full.

Macy's Holiday ParadeSanta!! I missed catching him looking at me by less than half a second. Darnit. And I love this shot because it's right in front of Macy's. Taken from inside the coffee shop where my friend and I split a breakfast and enjoyed a coffee while we watched the parade.

Macy's Holiday ParadeRecognize that adorable baritone horn player? ;) OCHS was the second band in the parade so we had plenty of time to sit and relax and enjoy the rest of the parade. For the first time since I got my camera I didn't spend the whole time shooting the entire lineup. I just watched and enjoyed this time.
