- To be honest i changed the color of the sky in photoshop to red - to honor the wonderful red wine of this region ;-)
- Maybe you have already seen some HDR images, where bricks looked like this stones here. But this image is no HDR, and i did not change the contrast. This are the real colors of the stones.
Montalcino
Montalcino is a hilltown and comune in Tuscany, Italy. The hill upon
which Montalcino sits has been settled probably since Etruscan times.
It is famous for its Brunello di Montalcino wine. The town is located
to the west of Pienza, close to the Crete Senesi in Val d'Orcia. It is
42 km from Siena, 110 km from Florence and 150 km from Pisa.
After taking this photo i tasted the Brunello di Montacino at the Enoteca di Piazza.
