Liberty - 4 Aces Motel
Since the new year I have been kinda lazy doing any photo shoots. Liberty pitched an idea for a shoot and we agreed to shoot on the upcoming sunday. While her concept for a shoot could not be done i figured we could try for something like it in the desert on a deserted road. About a year back a flickr meetup ventured out to lancaster can took some pictures of a movie set of a run down gas station and motel. I later found out this set has been used in quite a few movies. It pretty much was the most amazing location and I ever seen. The problem was it privately owned and while I was told there was no one around the fear or being caught or driving all the way out there and not be allowed to shoot prevented me from taking the chance. So with sundays shoot approaching I decided why not lets go for it. It ended up being about an hour and a half drive but once we arrived it met all my exceptions. I hurried and set up and got under way with the shoot. I figured the worst they could do was kick me out and I would already have some shots in the bag. The location was amazing. Liberty was amazing and I just could not of asked for a better shoot. We never ended up seeing anyone but we also did not venture to the back in case someone was watching over the property. Hopefully I can shoot here again I love this place.
