My girlfriend Liz and I took in "LOS LOBOS" at the City Winery (NYC) on New Years Eve. This was the third year in a row they've played there for New Years Eve and the second year in a row for Liz and me. Quite simply, they are one of the best bands in America in terms or raw musicianship. They also put on a fun show! In a couple of days we are going to see one of the few other bands that can compare to Los Lobos in terms of musicianship and ensemble playing -- Little Feat, also at the City Winery. Rock & Roll lives in 2012!
