You don't often see such big specimen of Quercus cerris in Austria, but here they mostly don't grow to similar heights and habitus as do Quercus robur and Quercus petraea. This one I took for one of the latter by habitus, but fruit, twigs, leaves (on the ground) and cupula identify this one as Quercus cerris without any room for doubt.
