I agree. In fact, it reminds me specifically of the "Better dead than Red" posters, which related to the fear of Communism. I might be confusing fear-mongers; perhaps the blacklists were from the McCarthy era.

Strangely, our present administration hasn't gone after Hollywood as another ""Creeping Menace" yet.
