UNITE

This is a large portrait I finished the morning of the election . I have been working on it for over 5 months. I pulled from about 50,000 crayons to make this. It is based on the fantastic photograph that Richard Avedon shot of Barack at the '04 convention, the same year Avedon died, but from the same spot that he gave his infamous 'red and blue states" speech.
