Nerd Parade

Nerd Parade is Atlanta's original and best indie-pop/rock band.

I’ve been photographing this this band since the core lineup was formed on January 12, 2007 - my birthday - and despite all the bumps and bruises and growing pains, it has been nothing but a pleasure. (It's been a wild ride, ya'll.)

These folks are wonderful enough to be not only my friends, but my family, as well as my willing guinea pigs in all things photographic. And to top it off, they are a band of extraordinarily - and disgustingly! - talented musicians and songwriters whose music never gets old and tired, no matter how many shows I attend.

Nerd Parade’s sound can only be described in one word: unique. The music is an eclectic and charming blend of pop, rock, prog, electronica, R&B and funk, sprinkled with metal crunchies and swirled with an indie flair. It’s something you can blast in the car, hum in the shower, dance to at a show. It’s life on the rocks, with a twist.
