The US and Cuba haven't been friends ever since Fidel came to power in
1959. Around the 'US Interests Office' on the Malecón in Havana the
Cuban authorities place billboards to protest US policy. The local
nickname of this area is 'protestódromo'.
This particular billboard protests against the war in Iraq. It
features blow-ups of photo's from the Abu Ghraib prison where inmates
were tortured by US soldiers.

I was there when this billboard was up. It should be mentioned that this was put up for a huge anti-imperialist protest along havana harbor.
